How and why we use your information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

Enquiries, quotes and orders: To respond to requests, discuss arrangements, process orders and organise delivery. Where this relates to a potential or existing purchase, our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract or fulfilling that contract.

Gift deliveries: When a customer provides another person’s details, we use them to deliver the gift and resolve delivery issues. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in fulfilling gift orders, while respecting the recipient’s privacy. We do not use recipient details for marketing.

General enquiries and business protection: We rely on our legitimate interests to answer general questions, maintain website security, prevent fraud and handle complaints or legal claims.

Accounting and legal requirements: We use and retain relevant records to meet our legal obligations.

Optional marketing: If we offer email or text marketing, we will ask for your consent before subscribing you. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe option.

Information needed to process an order must be provided for us to fulfil it. Optional fields can be left blank.

Payments

We use Stripe to process payments made directly through our website. Stripe securely handles your payment details, while we receive transaction information needed to confirm your order, record payment and manage refunds. For more information, see Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

We use Allied Irish Banks / AIB Merchant Services for invoice payments and Clover Go for in-person payments. These providers process the information necessary to complete your payment under their applicable privacy notices. For more information, see the AIB Data Protection Notice, AIB Merchant Services Privacy Policy and Clover Privacy Notice.

Where payment is made outside our website, we record its status against your invoice or order. Please do not send card numbers or security codes through our contact form or by email.

Who we share information with

We share relevant information only where needed to operate our business, including with:

  • Wix, which provides our website, shop and enquiry-form services.

  • The payment providers identified above.

  • Delivery personnel or delivery partners who need recipient details.

  • Providers of our business email and other services used to manage enquiries and orders.

  • Professional advisers or public authorities where necessary for accounting, legal obligations or legal claims.

We do not sell personal information.

Where information is processed

Wix and other service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area.

Where required, these transfers are protected by an approved adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

Further information is available in Wix’s privacy policy.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil its purpose:

  • Enquiries that do not lead to an order: Up to 12 months after our last meaningful contact.

  • Wedding and event planning correspondence: For the duration of the booking and up to 12 months after the event. Essential contractual and financial records are retained separately where needed.

  • Invoices and accounting records: Generally 6 years to meet Irish tax and accounting requirements.

  • Gift-card messages, recipient contact details and detailed delivery instructions: Normally deleted within 90 days of completed delivery, unless needed to resolve an outstanding issue. Information required as part of a financial record is retained for the applicable period.

  • Marketing information, if applicable: Until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. We may keep a minimal record of your preference to ensure we do not contact you again.

  • Complaints, disputes or legal claims: Relevant information is retained for as long as necessary to resolve the matter and meet applicable legal requirements.

We review our records regularly and securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
